The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals
The organization offers 40 online courses that cover topics such as Inventory Concepts, Cost/Price Analysis, Quality Control, Supply Chain Planning, Transportation and Warehousing. The courses cost +/- $100 each. Click here to explore the courses available.

The Electronics Primer: The Products, The Market, the Players is a comprehensive non-technical guide to the electronics industry. It offers product descriptions, features and benefits and the life cycle of a wide variety of components: semiconductors, active discrete and passive electromechanical interconnects. University of Industrial Distribution is holding a Second Session December 2-5, 2008!
UID is the industry's premiere distribution-specific education program. This continuing education certificate can be earned through Purdue University upon the completion of 90 hours of instruction that meets the requirement of 9 Continuing Education Units (CEU's). The conference will be held at the University Place Conference Center in Indianapolis, IN. Call 410-263-1014 for more information.
Student Internship Program
Center for Distribution Education (CDE)
Offers three tracks of online courses: Management (for senior and middle managers), General (for managers and employees in specific functional areas), and Core (courses suitable for all employees). CDE's program enables managers to monitor progress of employee participatns. Pricing discounts are available for NEDA members enrolling multiple employees or individuals in multiple courses.
Certificate Programs
- Texas A&M's Thomas & Joan Read Center Certificate of Distribution Management (CDM)
- University of Industrial Distribution (UID)
- Three 5-day modules taught at TAMU's College Station campus. Courses combine classroom instruction, in-class exercises, and individual projects focused on participant's company. Participants completing all three modules receive a Certificate of Distribution Management. NEDA members receive a $150 off the $2,450/course registration fee. Click here for more information.
- This four-day annual training opportunity enables participants to select the courses that best suit their particular job responsibility. Leading consultants and professors in the distribution field facilitate the UID curriculum. Master's Level Degree Programs

- The 36-hour Master's of Science in Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution and Logistics concentration prepares students for upper level positions in the industrial distribution and logistics field. This program is available on-line only. Click here for more information.

The 30-hour Master's of Industrial Distribution (MID) combines marketing, finance, accounting, logistics, IT, and concentrated project courses to prepare upwardly mobile employees for key management positions within the distribution industry.
