Becoming A NEDA Member

There are three categories for membership in the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA).  Please read the categories below to determine which one is appropriate for your company.

Distributor Membership - North American Headquarters

Distributor membership in NEDA is open to contractually-authorized distributors of electronic components and peripherals; test, measurment and control equipment; and related supplies that are headquartered in North America. Annual dues for distributors are based on a flat percentage of company sales.  To determine your dues amount, multiply 0.0001 times your company sales of electronic components in North America for the preceding calendar year. 
The minimum dues amount is $750 and the maximum amount is $50,000.

Please certify that you meet distributor membership criteria by disclosing the percentage of your sales derived from the sale of products for which you are contractually-aughorized by suppliers to stock and resell.

Distributor membership - International Headquarters

International distributor membership is open to contractually-authorized distributors headquartered outside of North America. Annual Dues for International Distributors are $1,500

Manufacturer Membership

Manufacturer membership is open to those firms or corporations which manufacturer, or have manufactured for them, electronic products sold by them under their company's brand name to electronic distributors that buy for resale.

Annual dues for manufacturers are based on the total annual sales volume:

Less than $50 million   $1,000
$50 million - $100 million $2,000
$100 - $500 million $3,000
$500 million - 1 billion $4,000
Over 1 billion $5,000

Associate Membership

Associate membership is open to those persons, firms or corporations which supply goods and services used by distributors and manufacturers in the operation of their businesses.  Associate membership is not open to customers of distributors or unauthorized channels for the distribution of electronic components. Annual dues for associate membership are $750.
